    Overview

    The purpose of this subject is to enable participants to understand how, as a consequence of the emergence of a global electronic marketplace and of business investment in the commercialisation of the World Wide Web, there have been shifts in standard business practice. The subject aims to enable participants to understand how these shifts have affected strategic initiatives, marketing and advertising, financial markets, information systems strategy, human resource management and supply chain management.
