...and then she was one...

Was it really just a year ago that I was laying in a hospital bed getting ready to meet my baby girl?  When they brought her to me for the first time I just knew she was mine...she's got my scowl.

She was so tiny...so beautiful and had such a vibrant little spirit...and we were amazed at her gorgeous blond tipped hair.

We loved it when daddy came to visit us in the hospital.  She was right at home snuggled up to his chest.

Your little newborn clothes just drowned you. 

And now a year later you are such a beauty!

You make the funniest faces

And have such wide eyed wonder at the world around you.

You are always looking for new things to explore.

And when you find them...

I have to just step back and watch you...

And now that you are one...

Yes, you...my silly little kitten...promise me you'll keep laughing...

and playing...

Mama loves you and will kiss away the tears.
