ACCOUNTING, BUSINESS AND ECONOMIC STUDIES

INTRODUCTION
All programs of study for the ACT Year 12 Certificate should enable students to become:
•  creative and critical thinkers
•  enterprising problem-solvers
•  skilled and empathetic communicators
•  informed and ethical decision-makers
•  environmentally and culturally aware citizens
•  confident and capable users of technologies
•  independent and self-managing learners
•  collaborative team members
and provide students with:
•  a comprehensive body of specific knowledge, principles and concepts
•  a basis for self-directed and lifelong learning
•  personal attributes enabling effective participation in society.
