Money out — how to make withdrawals

There are many ways to access money in your checking account:
  • Debit Card purchases
  • Getting cash at ATMs
  • Writing a check
  • Using Online Bill Pay

You can use your Debit Card to make cash withdrawals at the ATM and make purchases at merchants that accept Visa® debit cards. Although your Debit Card has a Visa® symbol on it, it is not a Credit Card. When you use your Debit Card, the money is deducted from your primary linked checking account. Please note that some Debit Card transactions may take several days to post to your account or could post the same day.
Setting up your Personal Identification Number (PIN)

You must set up a PIN in order to use your Debit Card at the ATM and to make purchases. For your safety and the security of your account, keep your PIN a secret. Do not carry this code with you or share it with anyone. You may want to change it every so often.

Wells Fargo ATMs

Wells Fargo ATMs can assist you with most of your day-to-day transactional needs — and are available 24 hours, 7 days a week in most cases. Wells Fargo ATMs also remember your most frequent/common transactions, such as the amount of cash you typically withdraw, so your ATM experience can be fast and easy. Here you will find an example of the screens you will encounter when banking at our Wells Fargo ATMs:
1. Shortcuts: The ATM remembers your three most frequent transactions and lists them here. You can also customize your shortcuts by pressing the “More Choices” button.

2. Get Balances & Statements: Stay up-to-date on your account. Print the last 10 transactions or balances of your linked accounts.1

3. Transfer: Transfer money between your linked accounts.

4. Buy Stamps: Avoid a trip to the post office and buy stamps directly from one of our ATMs.

5. More Choices: Customize your ATM — change your PIN, change your language, update your shortcuts.
