Preparation of financial statements. Statements provide critical information for management and stakeholders of a business. For those businesses that do not require a full time accountant or bookkeeper, we provide the services necessary, complementing the abilities available within the company. These customized services include:
  • Monthly bookkeeping and data processing
  • Payroll processing
  • Regular filings (such as source deductions and GST)
  • Interim financial statements (done quarterly or for other periods)
Frequently Asked Questions

Review of financial statements. To meet the requirements of creditors, shareholders, government agencies, bonding companies and others, we can provide you a review of your financial statements. This provides a limited, but generally accepted, level of assurance for a set of financial statements (as opposed to a more expensive audit)

Financial projections and forecasts. Future-oriented information and analysis is an important tool for obtaining new or alternative financing. We can help you prepare or review your projections and forecasts to help ensure their accuracy and reliability, and their consistency with established accounting practices.

Personal Taxation. Services include planning so that you pay the least amount of tax possible, as well as preparation and filing of your tax return. If necessary, we will represent you before the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency with respect to your tax return.

Corporate Taxation. Corporate tax planning takes into account a multitude of taxes, including income tax, payroll tax and capital taxes. Our team has the knowledge and experience to minimize corporate tax payable. We will, of course, prepare your tax return and deal with the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency as necessary.

Estates and Trusts. Planning and compliance matters for estates and trusts can be very complex. It is critical that your advisors understand the taxation of estates and trusts, in order to minimize the tax on the trust and its beneficiaries, while reflecting your wishes.
