Congratulations to the two award winners:
- Volker Neth and Paul Cyganik won the Award of Excellence in the International category for their “Design, Construction and Monitoring of an Ice Platform in Siberia.” The judges noted that this was “a unique project which required innovative thinking to overcome the challenges of the geography of the site.” They felt the project was “most impressive. Extremely difficult in a remote location with few amenities … Very well done!”
- David Das, Joe Lenham, Tom Dance, Michelle Blade and their team won the Award of Merit in the Environment category for the “GIS Application for Phase III Environmental Site Assessment” in Jasper Park for PWGSC and Parks Canada.
