Career & Technical Education Advisory Boards

Purpose of Advisory Boards

The purpose of RUSD advisory boards is to establish partnerships between RUSD and members and serve as a means for ensuring effective communication between business, industry, government, labor, the community and the Racine Unified School District (RUSD). Advisory boards are a powerful management tool to provide input and make recommendations on changes to provide direction for the program, including suggestions for improvement, expansion, and/or innovation on the quality and relevancy of Career and Technical Education instruction.
Our long-range goal is to establish partnerships of trust between RUSD and members of the community representing business and industry while sharing our vision and seeking advice.

Benefits of serving on a RUSD Advisory Board

Members of the board are chosen for their expertise and reputation in the field, to ensure that projects are carried out in a professional and ethical manner. We want to make sure each and every member is heard and above all walk away with the feeling of contribution and accomplishment and look forward to the next meeting of the board.
